Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am a 33 year old mother of 2 children, aged 5 and 3. I work full-time in the finance industry as a Commercial Assistant Manager. I am half way through completing my Bachelor of Business degree. I have lived in the Goulburn Valley region for most of my life. A recent health battle has made me re-assess my goals and dreams in life and hopefully I can inspire my children to work hard and achieve fantastic outcome in their life.
What's the inspiration behind what you do?
I love helping customers achieve their financial and personal goals, whether that be financial freedom or business expansion amongst other goals. Seeing a customers goals realised is very rewarding. I work as part of team of inspiring people from all walks of life and have a diverse range of customers that exposes me to a lot of different industries and people.
Do you have a role model or a person that has inspired you throughout your life?
My mum is my inspiration. She raised 2 children on her own whilst working full-time. I have witnessed her go through some tough life moments from divorce to cancer and she has done it all with a smile on her face, a positive attitude and by always putting her family first. She is a true inspiration.
Where do women sit in the greater global picture?
There is still a long way to go. The pressure other women in particular put on each other contributes to this, especially the judgement that we inflict on other women. If we can support each other and help raise the profiles of the amazing and influential women that are living in regional and rural Australia the better the world we live in will be.
If you were a hash tag what would it be?
