Rachae_Willis_187.jpgTell us a little bit about yourself?

I work as a sole trader - clinical psychologist for the past 9 years. Melbourne born and bred, relocated to the Hume region for a "tree change".  Reside in Shepparton with my husband and have three step children and four babies (dog, cat and too many horses). Highly motivated to make a difference in other's lives and aim to live every day to the fullest.

What's the inspiration behind what you do?

To empower people to be the best they can be via evidence based therapeutic interventions and treatment programs.  In addition, to maintain a high level of therapeutic rapport and effective relationships.

Do you have a role model or a person that has inspired you throughout your life?

I have many people that have inspired me for different reasons.  My mum for raising three highly ambitious and successful daughters, my grandmother x2 for providing for both sides of my family of origin in such a loving and hardworking way.

Where do women sit in the greater global picture?

I believe women are capable of achieving whatever they set their minds to and the bigger barrier most have is fear of judgment by others.  All women are striving to be considered as equal to their male counterparts as a global scale and opportunities are improving.

If you were a hash tag what would it be?
